Telefónica I+D is happy to announce that a paper submitted to the IEEE Communications Magazine, entitled “Towards Cloud-Ready Transport Networks”, has been accepted for publication in the Special Issue on Cloud Computing: Networking and Communications Challenges, to be released on September 2012. This paper presents the Telefónica’s point of view for the migration path to a really cloud-aware transport network, and provides some practical results derived from a number of EU FP7 projects, including GEYSERS.
